Project Description: This federally funded project consists of : 1) widening the fillets and tapers of five cross taxiways (E, E1; L,M and U); 2) widening the safety areas of the five taxiways to 65 m; 3) removal and replacement of the present asphalt pavement on the taxiways and associated shoulder areas; 4) replacement of existing taxiway edge lighting; 5) installation of taxiway centerline lighting on T/W E1; 6) removal and replacement of the present asphalt pavement in the infield between Taxiways E, E1, and K; 7) paving the infield between Runway 14/32 and Taxiways L and Y; 8) installing a 3,000 meter long electrical duct banks (w/o wiring and cabling); and 9) constructing taxiway stub-outs extending 55 meters west of T/W R and cross T/W S, T, and U.
