HISTORY

QAP (formerly QUALITY ASPHALT PAVING, INC.) is a 32 year-old Alaskan contracting company doing heavy and highway construction throughout Alaska.  We are a comprehensive contracting firm with expertise and equipment to perform clearing, common excavation, rock excavation, underground utility, crushing and asphalt paving.

The company was started in 1971 as a commercial asphalt paver.  Over the last three decades, it has shifted from private works to public work and has diversified to do all types of heavy construction.
